What is the ‘Digital Integrity’ campaign?
On 8 October 2026 the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission and the Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) launched a media awareness campaign called “Digital Integrity: Safe Virtual Asset Transactions”, together with the National Cyber Security Center, the Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported, citing a statement by the Integrity Commission.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Who | Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, Jordan Securities Commission, National Cyber Security Center |
| How long | About two weeks from 8 October 2026 |
| Where | Awareness messages across media outlets and social networks |
| Aimed at | Public- and private-sector employees, investors, and citizens who use digital platforms |
| Goals | Explain Law No. 14 of 2025, promote digital integrity, reduce the use of virtual assets in corruption, and build trust in national regulators |
What does the law behind the campaign say?
Law No. 14 of 2025 Regulating Dealing in Virtual Assets covers virtual-asset services provided in Jordan for others, and gives the JSC the power to license and supervise the providers of these services (law text, Arabic). Service providers may not use virtual assets, or help others use them, to pay for things inside Jordan unless the Central Bank of Jordan decides to allow it.
Where does licensing stand? Licensing Regulation No. 94 has been in force since January 2026, and no final version of the executive instructions has appeared on the JSC website yet. As of 23 October 2026, no company holds a virtual-asset service provider (VASP) licence from the Jordan Securities Commission. On 22 September 2026 the JSC stated that no VASP is licensed by it and that applications are still under review (JSC post).
What does this mean for you?
- You may have seen the campaign’s messages in the media or on social networks; it was planned for about two weeks from 8 October. For the law in plain words, read is USDT allowed in Jordan?.
- Today no licence separates one provider from another. Anyone who claims to be “licensed by the JSC” for virtual assets is contradicting the JSC’s own statement, so treat that as a warning sign.
- What you can check: a registered Jordanian company with a clear name and address, whether it has applied for a licence and how far it got, real people you can reach, and clear prices.
- If you see a suspicious offer or a promise of huge profits, report it to the Public Security Directorate’s Cybercrime Unit on 911, as the JSC advises. Before any trade, go through the safety checklist.
