How do I buy USDT in Jordan, step by step?
This guide shows how to buy Tether (USDT) with Jordanian dinars (JD) in the Vexjo app, paying with CliQ from your bank account. The steps are the same for every order:
- Sign up on Vexjo. Sign-up is by invitation: the app asks for an invite code, which you can request from the Vexjo team on WhatsApp.
- Choose “Buy”, then the amount. One order is 5–5,000 USDT, and you can place as many orders as you need. The price you see in dinars is what you pay.
- Choose the network: TRC20 or BEP20. Pick the one your wallet supports, or the one the receiver asks for.
- Enter your wallet address and check the network. A TRC20 address starts with “T”; a BEP20 address starts with “0x”. Copy it from your wallet and check all of it.
- Pay with CliQ inside the app. Follow the payment steps shown, and check the details your bank’s app displays (it shows the recipient’s full name) before you confirm.
- Vexjo’s team confirms your payment. Once your transfer arrives, the team checks and confirms it.
- USDT arrives in your wallet automatically. It goes to the address you entered; you can watch it on Tronscan (TRC20) or BscScan (BEP20).
Vexjo is open 24/7, and CliQ moves money between bank accounts in Jordan instantly, around the clock.
What do I need before I buy USDT?
Before your first order:
| What you need | Why | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| An invite code | Sign-up on Vexjo is by invitation | Ask the Vexjo team on WhatsApp |
| A bank account with CliQ | Payment in the app is by CliQ | Every bank in Jordan is on CliQ except Al Rafidain Bank |
| Your bank’s CliQ limit | CliQ allows up to JD 10,000 per transfer, and your bank may set a lower or daily limit | Check your bank’s app before a large order |
| A USDT wallet | To receive your USDT | Pick one that supports the network you want |
| Your address on the right network | USDT is sent to this address | TRC20 starts with “T”, BEP20 with “0x” |
No wallet yet? Start with our USDT wallet guide. Anyone sending you USDT needs only your wallet address, never your recovery phrase.
How much is USDT in Jordanian dinars right now?
Prices move with the market and the order size, so these figures come live from Vexjo, last updated 13:03 Amman time:
| Amount | You pay on BEP20 (JD) | You pay on TRC20 (JD, network fee included) |
|---|---|---|
| 100 USDT | 78 | 80 |
| 500 USDT | 375 | 377 |
| 1,000 USDT | 740 | 742 |
On a 1,000 USDT order, 1 USDT costs 0.740 JD right now. A dash “—” means prices are not available at this moment; we never show an old price. See the USDT price today for every amount, or the USDT and JOD calculator for any other sum.
This is the market price at which Vexjo sells USDT, not an official exchange rate. The Central Bank of Jordan publishes official exchange rates for foreign currencies.
How can I pay: CliQ, bank transfer or cash?
In the app: CliQ. Through Vexjo’s OTC desk: bank transfer (IBAN) or cash.
| Payment method | Where | Order size | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| CliQ | Inside the Vexjo app | 5–5,000 USDT per order, as many orders as you need | Buying straight from the app |
| Bank transfer (IBAN) | Vexjo’s OTC desk | Any size | Large amounts, or when your bank’s CliQ limit is below your order |
| Cash | Vexjo’s OTC desk | Any size | If you prefer to pay in cash |
For the OTC desk, contact the Vexjo team on WhatsApp.
What should I know about CliQ before I pay?
CliQ is owned and run by JoPACC (Jordan Payments and Clearing Company) under Central Bank of Jordan supervision. It is for local transfers in Jordanian dinars only, and works instantly, 24/7. Most important: the sender cannot recall a CliQ transfer, so pay only through the payment steps in the app. More in buying USDT with CliQ.
What are the smallest and largest amounts?
On the Vexjo platform an order is 5–5,000 USDT (selling from 10 USDT). There is no limit on the total: as many orders as you need, and any size through Vexjo’s OTC desk.
Can I buy USDT with a credit card?
Vexjo’s payment methods are CliQ in the app, and bank transfer (IBAN) or cash through the OTC desk, so you pay from your bank account rather than with a card.
Are there extra fees when I buy USDT?
No. Vexjo charges no extra fees: the price you see is what you pay. On TRC20, the network fee is already in the JOD price; right now it is 2 JD, included in the amount you see, not added later. On BEP20 nothing is added to the buy price.
Outside Vexjo: banks offer CliQ free for now but may set fees, and when you later send USDT from your own wallet you pay the network (on TRON with Energy and Bandwidth or burned TRX, on BNB Smart Chain with BNB).
In the current price table, the price per USDT falls as the order grows, so compare one large order with several small ones in the calculator.
Which network should I choose: TRC20 or BEP20?
The key differences:
| TRC20 (TRON) | BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain) | |
|---|---|---|
| Address | Starts with “T”, 34 characters | Starts with “0x”, 42 characters |
| Network fee when buying on Vexjo | Included in the JOD price | Nothing added |
| Who issues the token | Tether: an officially listed TRC20 token | A pegged token issued by another company, shown on BscScan as “BSC-USD” |
Tether does not list BNB Smart Chain among its official USDT chains (its page for that chain shows only Tether Gold, XAU₮), so “USDT BEP20” is really that pegged “BSC-USD” token. More in TRC20 or BEP20.
How long does USDT take to reach my wallet?
Vexjo’s team confirms your payment, then USDT is sent automatically, 24/7. TRON’s docs say it makes a block about every 3 seconds and a transaction becomes final after about a minute. BNB Chain’s docs (read on 24 October 2026) give “fast finality” in about 1.125 seconds in most cases.
What are the usual ways to buy USDT in Jordan?
Three routes are common in Jordan, each with its own checks:
| Route | How it works | What to check before you pay |
|---|---|---|
| A local company or dealer | You pay in dinars (CliQ, bank transfer or cash) and receive USDT in your wallet | Who the company is and where it is based, whether it has applied for a licence and how far it got, and that you pay only through its official channels |
| Buying from individuals | Through social-media groups, ads or people you know | You usually pay first, and you cannot recall a sent CliQ transfer if the USDT never comes. Check the USDT has arrived on the network’s explorer and check the token’s contract address, not a screenshot or the token’s name: fake “flash USDT” tokens show up in a wallet and then vanish |
| Global exchanges | An account on a platform outside Jordan, paying by the methods it sets | The platform’s payment and withdrawal methods and fees, and that you withdraw on a network your wallet supports |
Whatever the route, watch for the scam signs Jordan’s authorities warn about: on 4 January 2026 the Jordan Securities Commission warned about companies luring people with “fantasy profits” in foreign markets or virtual assets through social media and misleading ads, and asked people to report suspicious offers to the Cybercrime Unit on 911. The Cybercrime Unit has warned of fake trading platforms, advertised on social media and often run from outside Jordan, and said getting the money back is almost impossible.
Is buying USDT allowed in Jordan?
The Law Regulating Dealing in Virtual Assets of 2025, Law No. (14) of 2025, takes effect 90 days after publication in the Official Gazette. It covers virtual-asset services provided in Jordan for or on behalf of others (Art. 3), and only the Jordan Securities Commission licenses virtual-asset service providers (Art. 6). The licensing process itself is still under way:
- The licensing regulation is in force: Regulation No. (94) of 2025, the Virtual Asset Service Providers Licensing Regulation, entered into force, as the JSC announced on 15 January 2026.
- The executive instructions are still a draft: on 15 January 2026 the JSC published a draft of the “Executive Instructions for Virtual Assets Activities for 2026” for public comment, and as of 24 October 2026 no final version appears on the JSC website.
Licensing today: As of 23 October 2026, no company holds a virtual-asset service provider (VASP) licence from the Jordan Securities Commission. On 22 September 2026 the JSC stated that no VASP is licensed by it and that applications are still under review. A check we made on 24 October 2026 found no newer JSC announcement of any licence.
Vexjo’s status: Vexjo applied under Jordan’s virtual-asset law (application no. VASP-20260328-25) and in June 2026 became the first company to complete all of the Jordan Securities Commission’s licensing requirements.
What this means for you today
Since the JSC has not issued any licence yet, a licence cannot tell one provider from another today. So look at what you can actually check:
| What to ask | At Vexjo |
|---|---|
| Is it a registered Jordanian company with a real name and address? | Vexjo Virtual Assets LLC is a Jordanian company in Amman. |
| Has it applied for a licence, and how far has it got? | Yes (application no. VASP-20260328-25); details under “Vexjo’s status” above. |
| How long has it traded, and how many trades? | Trading USDT for Jordanian dinars since 2016: in person and on WhatsApp first, online platform since 2019. 10,000+ completed trades since 2016 (in person, WhatsApp and the platform). |
| Can you reach real people? | The Vexjo team on WhatsApp. |
| What do customers say outside its own site? | Vexjo’s Facebook page has been active since January 2022 (first as Osama Coins, now vexjo.com). It carries the Meta Verified badge, and customers have reviewed Vexjo there since January 2022. |
| Are the prices clear? | No extra fees: the price you see is what you pay. On TRC20, the network fee is already in the JOD price. |
| Do you pay through a channel you can trace? | CliQ in the app; your bank’s app shows the recipient’s full name before you confirm. |
Anyone who says today that they are “licensed by the JSC” for virtual assets is making a claim the JSC’s own statement contradicts, so treat it as a red flag. To ask the JSC about a company’s status, use its website (jsc.gov.jo) or call 06 5607171 (+962 6 5607171 from abroad). Full details: is USDT legal in Jordan? Law and licensing.
How do I stay safe when buying USDT?
A wrong address, a wrong network or a payment to a stranger is hard to undo: the US Federal Trade Commission notes that crypto payments typically are not reversible. Always compare the whole address, not just its start and end.
| If this happens | Do this |
|---|---|
| You are not sure about the network | Stop, and check which network your wallet supports before entering the address |
| Someone asks you to CliQ money to their account for USDT | Don’t send it; pay only through the payment steps in the Vexjo app, or as agreed with the Vexjo team for OTC orders |
| You sent a CliQ transfer to the wrong person | Contact your bank right away; it may try to get the money back amicably through the recipient’s bank |
| Someone asks for your recovery phrase | Never give it; to receive USDT, your wallet address is enough |
| You get a “quick big profit” offer | Treat it as a scam, as the Cybercrime Unit advises, and report it on 911 |
Before every order, run through the USDT safety checklist.

As of 23 October 2026, no company holds a virtual-asset service provider (VASP) licence from the Jordan Securities Commission, and on 22 September 2026 the JSC said applications are still under review. What happens if I enter a wallet address on the wrong network?
You may not be able to get the USDT back, because a blockchain transfer cannot be undone once it is final. A TRC20 address starts with T and a BEP20 address starts with 0x, so match the address to the network you chose before you confirm.
