How do I use the calculator?

  1. Choose what you want: Buy USDT or Sell USDT.
  2. Choose the unit you will type: USDT if you know the amount of USDT, or JD if you know the amount in dinars.
  3. Choose the network: BEP20 or TRC20. Not sure? Read the network guide.
  4. Type the amount. The result appears straight away, with the price of 1 USDT.

What does each result mean?

You chose The calculator shows
Buy + USDT How many dinars you pay for that amount
Buy + JD The largest whole number of USDT you can buy with that money
Sell + USDT How many dinars you get for that amount
Sell + JD The smallest whole number of USDT to sell to get at least that money

How many dinars for 50, 100 or 500 USDT?

These are the amounts people ask about most, at the current market price on BEP20 (last update 13:03 Amman time):

Amount Buy: you pay Sell: you get
10 USDT 10 JD 5 JD
50 USDT 41 JD 30 JD
100 USDT 78 JD 65 JD
500 USDT 375 JD 341 JD
1,000 USDT 740 JD 685 JD

For any other amount, use the calculator above.

Is this calculator only for the Jordanian dinar?

Yes. “Dinar” is also the name of other currencies, such as the Iraqi and Kuwaiti dinar, but every number here is in Jordanian dinars (JD) only, because these are Vexjo’s market prices in Jordan.

How is the result worked out?

Vexjo publishes a price for a set of amounts (tiers), such as 100, 500 and 1,000 USDT. If your amount is between two tiers, the price is worked out in proportion between them. The buy price is then rounded up to a whole dinar and the sell price is rounded down to a whole dinar.

When you buy on TRC20, the network fee is added to the JOD price; right now it is 2 JD. Nothing is added on BEP20.

Why is the result not just the amount times one price?

Because the price per USDT is not fixed: in the current price table, small orders pay more per USDT when buying and get less per USDT when selling, and big orders get a better price. Rounding to whole dinars can also move the number a little from a manual sum. The calculator applies the rule exactly, so you don’t need to do it by hand.

What if I need more than 5,000 USDT?

An order on the Vexjo platform is 5–5,000 USDT (selling from 10 USDT). There is no limit on how much you buy or sell in total: you can split the amount into several orders, or use Vexjo’s OTC desk for any size, by bank transfer (IBAN) or cash.

Does the result include all fees?

Yes when you buy from Vexjo: there are no extra fees, the price you see is what you pay, and on TRC20 the network fee is already in the JOD price. When you sell, you send USDT from your own wallet, so your wallet pays the network fee, and that fee is not shown in the calculator.

When you are ready, place the order on Vexjo. Sign-up is by invitation; you can ask the Vexjo team for an invite code on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

How many dinars do I pay for 100 USDT?

Choose "Buy USDT", then "USDT", and type 100. The calculator shows the amount in dinars at the current market price. You can also find it on the 100 USDT row of the price table under the calculator.

How much USDT do I get for 100 dinars?

Choose "Buy USDT", then "JD", and type 100. The calculator shows the largest whole number of USDT you can buy with that amount, and the price per USDT.

Is the result final or an estimate?

It uses the same pricing rule Vexjo publishes, but the final price is the one shown in the Vexjo app before you confirm the order, because prices can change from one moment to the next.

Why does the price of 1 USDT change when I change the amount?

Prices are set in tiers by order size; between tiers the price is worked out in proportion and then rounded to a whole dinar. So the result is not always the amount times one fixed price.

Does the calculator include network fees?

Yes when you buy. On TRC20 the network fee is added to the JOD price; on BEP20 nothing is added. When you sell, you send USDT from your own wallet, and your wallet pays the network fee.
